Responsibilities: Quality Integration: Make Quality an integral part of the software development lifecycle, building and shipping better products. Test Engineering: Drive test engineering methodologies and Mastercard standards, acting as the first-review for project-level reviews, walkthroughs, and code inspections. Automation & Self-Service: Drive a culture of quality automation and self-service as a fundamental part of software delivery practices. Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor customer insights and production issues to seek feedback and continuously improve product capabilities. Collaboration: Liaise closely with developers, key stakeholders, and potential 3rd party resources to ensure systems are designed for maximum reliability, performance, and testability. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Core Testing: Strong experience in Unit, Functional, and Integration testing with a systematic approach to test strategy analysis. Automation: Practical exposure to building and using test automation frameworks specifically with Java. Platform Testing: Experience testing across a variety of platforms including Microservices, Event-Driven Applications, and Databases. Protocols & DevOps: Experience in protocol testing (SFTP/sockets/HTTPs/RPC) and strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Code Quality: Working knowledge of code coverage tools to ensure high conditional coverage. Methodology: Proven experience working in an Agile Methodology environment.
