Software Engineer, AI & Automation

Cisco is looking for passionate Software Engineers who are excited to build intelligent automation solutions for modern networking platforms. In this role, you'll work on the Cisco 8000 Platform (IOS-XR), designing automation frameworks, executing large-scale automated testing, integrating AIITH-driven productivity tools, and improving software quality using Generative AI technologies. Rather than performing traditional software testing, you'll engineer advanced automation systems that improve deployment reliability, increase scalability, and reduce operational complexity. You'll collaborate with global engineering teams while leveraging modern AI technologies to create smarter testing workflows, intelligent defect analysis, chatbot-assisted troubleshooting, and automated infrastructure validation.
