BMW TechWorks India is hiring a Senior QA Engineer in Pune. The role involves ensuring software quality throughout the product lifecycle using manual and automation testing. Candidates should have 5-11 years of QA experience and a strong background in software quality assurance processes including test planning, defect management, and automation frameworks. Responsibilities: Analyze business and functional requirements Prepare test strategies and design test cases Execute manual testing activities and validate user journeys Perform exploratory testing to identify defects Design and maintain automation frameworks and scripts Enhance automation coverage across applications Execute automated regression suites Perform API testing using Postman and validate REST APIs Verify request-response structures and service integrations Participate in test planning and review specifications Ensure complete test coverage and monitor quality metrics Support release validation and sign-off activities Identify and document defects and perform root cause analysis Track issues through closure and validate fixes Collaborate with cross-functional development teams Requirements: 5-11 years of QA experience Strong hands-on experience in manual testing Automation testing expertise with Selenium and Playwright API testing skills using Postman and REST Assured Experience in Agile and Scrum environments Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills Quality-first mindset with strong attention to detail Experience with defect tracking and lifecycle management Root cause analysis and quality metrics reporting Required Skills: Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Selenium, Playwright, API Testing, Postman, REST Assured, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Test Planning, Defect Management, Agile, Scrum, Quality Assurance, Problem Solving, Communication
