Job Responsibilities The Data Science Manager will be responsible for leveraging complex analytics and modeling to drive business results. Key functions include: Leading projects focusing on customer analytics and retention models, while utilizing broad knowledge of agency economics and lead optimization. Developing multiple phases of data science projects encompassing ideation, experiment design, exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, model building, and deployment. Collaborating with IT and business teams to enhance data infrastructure and serving as an objective partner in decision-making processes. Mentoring and supervising less experienced team members, facilitating professional development, and ensuring a high-performance culture where innovation is encouraged. Presentation of complex data insights to leadership and non-technical staff, emphasizing the need for transparent and clear communication. Required Skills Candidates interested in applying for the position must possess the following skills and qualifications: A minimum of five years of work experience in data analysis, statistical or mathematical modeling, or related fields. Experience in the insurance industry is preferred. Mastery in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with various data manipulation tools (SQL, SAS, R, and Snowflake).
