Job Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the Customer Service Agent include: Responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally through various channels like email, chat, and social media. Utilizing Gorgias for managing customer conversations effectively and guiding customers through their queries. Processing returns, refunds, and order amendments using significant platforms such as Shopify and Loop. Escalating issues when necessary and maintaining clear communication through ticket notes. Actively participating in team-oriented tasks including training, quality assurance, and meetings to ensure alignment with the company's objectives. Meeting daily productivity and quality standards ensures that customers receive a consistent and satisfying experience. Required Skills Candidates are expected to meet certain qualifications to be considered for the Customer Service Agent role. These include: 1-3 years of eCommerce customer service experience is preferred. Proficiency in written English with strong professional communication skills is essential. This ensures effective interaction with customers, helping to distill their concerns and provide meaningful solutions. Familiarity with tools like Shopify, Gorgias, Cin7, and Loop, or similar applications, is needed to facilitate seamless service delivery. Reliability, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills are crucial, allowing for quick and accurate responses to customer inquiries and issues. Bonus Qualifications While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will have an advantage: Experience handling multi-channel support or proficiency working with returns platforms, indicating a well-rounded capability in customer service environments. Work Hours and Location The role is a full-time position, requiring work five days a week, which may include occasional weekends. The working hours align with Sydney hours (AEST).
