Job Responsibilities The Coordinator, Virtual Design & Construction role focuses on several essential tasks: Support virtual design and construction initiatives by managing Building Information Models (BIM) and innovative tools to enhance project planning and execution. Develop best practices for virtual construction processes, handle 4D simulations, and manage construction execution plans. Assist with heavy crane lift drawings, model quantity takeoffs, and create 3D drafting of in-house designs. Translate 2D drawings into comprehensive 3D/4D models, showcasing analytical skills and a deep understanding of heavy industrial construction. Contribute to ongoing training efforts and help integrate new technologies beneficial to the organization, such as augmented reality and virtual reality tools.
