Job Responsibilities The successful candidate will undertake the following key responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the financial close processes. Provide strategic advisory to clients on how to leverage AI and automation technologies to improve efficiency and efficacy in the controllership function. Conduct interviews and interactions with clients, generating valuable insights through published research tailored for senior finance leaders. Remain well-informed regarding the trends in accounting technologies and continuously update research agendas based on emerging issues. Deliver engaging presentations and discussions with clients, both virtually and at events, aimed at providing actionable insights and recommendations. Required Skills and Experience To qualify for this position, candidates will need to meet certain qualifications, including: A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 8 years of leading accounting teams in large multinational organizations. Demonstrated experience in transforming financial reporting processes and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by finance leaders. Strong knowledge of accounting automation vendors and various technologies related to financial accounting. A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required, with preference for candidates with a CPA or equivalent certification. A Master's degree is preferred but is not mandatory. Candidates should possess solid analytical skills, comfort with public speaking, and the ability to build trust quickly with clients to advocate effectively for their needs. Salary Information Gartner provides its employees with a highly competitive compensation package. In this role, candidates can expect a base salary ranging between $148,000 and $175,500. The actual salary can vary based on several factors like education, training, experience, and additional achievements.
