Overview
Trust Based Mobility is seeking a passionate Video Editing Specialist to join their dynamic team. The company operates as a performance-driven health and wellness brand, with a mission to help individuals improve their movement, feeling better, and enhancing their confidence. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in producing high-volume direct-response video content tailored for both paid social channels and organic growth. With the goal of dispatching over 100 video assets each week, the editing focus is on maintaining quality, speed, and compelling storytelling.
Role Description
The position is crafted for those who thrive in fast-paced, creative environments and are capable of transforming raw materials—such as scripts, AI-generated footage, voiceovers, and direct-response frameworks—into polished, engaging video ads. This is not a standard editing role; it demands a high output of creative content for audience engagement and conversion. The Video Editing Specialist will be in close collaboration with the Head of Performance Creative to shape and refine video content.
Compensation and Contract Type
Trust Based Mobility offers a competitive compensation package in USD, ranging from $1,500 to $3,000 per month, contingent on the applicant's experience. Moreover, there is potential for bonus earnings of up to $4,000 per month for top performers. This position operates as a 1099 contractor and is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from anywhere.
New hires will embark on a 60-day paid trial period, after which successful editors may qualify for bonus compensation and paid time off. Daily overlap with the team operating in PST (Pacific Standard Time) requires at least four hours of availability, making collaboration efficient and productive.
Responsibilities

Editing Specialist will undertake:
Edit and compile performance-focused video ads for various channels
Utilize creative briefs, scripts, and raw footage, alongside AI-generated clips and voiceovers, while adhering to brand guidelines
Develop strong hooks, maintain pacing, and ensure accurate captioning, avoiding any grammatical errors
Curate music and sound effects, integrate B-roll and AI-generated footage seamlessly, and ensure each asset flows cohesively from the hook to the call-to-action (CTA)
Maintain an organized editing workflow and consistently meet established deadlines while communicating proactively with team members
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates whose skills align with the following requirements will find themselves well-suited for the role:
Proficiency in at least one primary editing workflow software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut
Near-native fluency in English, particularly for accurate captioning and effective communication in team meetings
Capable of leveraging AI tools to create complete AI-generated video ads, utilizing models like Veo 3, Kling 3.0, and Seedance
Comfortable using voiceover technologies like ElevenLabs and capable of stitching together AI scenes, voiceover, subtitles, graphics, and music into harmonious edits
A well-rounded understanding of the nuances of direct-response video, including creating impactful hooks, pacing, captions, and CTAs
Preference will be given to candidates with editing experience in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer platforms, or digital products, as opposed to generic dropshipping content
A clear and organized portfolio showcasing playable video links is essential for application consideration
Desired Skills and Experience
While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion, Monday.com, or ClickUp, along with proficiency in Slack
Understanding of performance creative testing, Meta ads, TikTok-style pacing, and User-Generated Content (UGC) structures would further strengthen a candidate's application
Application Process
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications along with a link to their portfolio featuring playable video samples. Applications that include broken links, unplayable files, or omit a portfolio will not be considered for the role.
