- Handle the Data Privacy Program independently
- Maintain and update Data Privacy Policies, Procedure, Templates & Process documents as per regulatory / internal requirements
- Ensure Subject Access Requests (SARs) are responded in timely manner
- Perform Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) as per Bank’s defined processes
- Play a consulting role for Business Team on all privacy related queries
- Prepare the response for client due diligence on data privacy queries
- Handle the internal / external audits related to data privacy independently
- Track the observation raised for closure with business teams for any data privacy assessments / audits
- Ensure periodic updates are prepared as part of dashboards and same are discussed with relevant management team
- Define and deliver the Data Privacy Training Program for different level of work force within Bank
- Handle the team of outsourced consultants / auditors as and when need arise to take up the Data Privacy or Cyber Security Projects
- Experience required for the Job: 10 plus years; relevant experience in Data Privacy: 6 plus years
- Engineer / Graduate / Masters
- Certification like DCPLA / DCPP
- Knowledge on Data Privacy Laws / Regulations: GDPR, DIFC, DPD etc
- In-depth knowledge on Data Privacy Concepts: Privacy Impact Assessment, Personal Information Inventory, Subject Access Request, Notice etc.
- Experience in Data Privacy; Experience in Banking (Preferable)
- Ability to interact and getting job done from peers and seniors
- Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills
