Senior Software Developer
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Job Type: Full-time – Remote
Minimum Experience needed – 7 years of experience.
Job Responsibilities:
· Become a subject matter expert in Teams Power BI implementation.
· The ability and willingness to train team members on area of expertise.
· Design and develop new features for client-server applications.
· Work collaboratively with scrum teams and product owners to identify new features and squash bugs.
· Coordinate with scrum teams to report progress, enhancements, and defects to key stakeholders.
· Participates in all aspects of development cycle. (Feature Planning, Peer Code Reviews, Quality Assurance, etc.)
· Be able to receive and give constructive feedback.
· Estimate effort of assigned work.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
· At least 7+ years in software development.
· Experience working in an agile environment. (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with various teams and management group.
· Not afraid to speak up. Participation in team activities is a priority.
· Ability to solve complex problems, including the use of research, analysis, and expertise to develop creative, innovative solutions.
· Must have experience with(In Order of Importance):
1. T-SQL
Stored procedures.
Complex joins, inserts, updates, and optimization techniques.
Experience with normalization and relational database design.
2. Power BI (3+ years’ experience)
3. C# with .NET Framework v4.8.0+
o Must be extremely organized, motivated, and work with a sense of urgency.
Nice-to-have ->:
o SSRS experience is a plus.
o Business Analytic Tools (like Looker, MicroStrategy).
o Front end development (WinForms, Blazor, Angular).
o Testing Frameworks (Moq, NUnit, Selenium).
o ETL using C# and/or SSIS
o Wholesale distribution industry.
o Software design patterns (MVP)
o Experience with database projects in Visual Studio
o GIT Repositories leveraging Microsoft DevOps.
