Primary Responsibilities:
- Working alongside product leaders, development teams and technical leads to resolve scope and priorities for sprints
- Builds relationships to be a trusted partners
- Demonstrates understanding of end user interaction and the function of application to that user
- Writing and refining user stories with technical partners working to ensure understanding of intended outcomes
- Encouraging and empowering development teams to deliver thoughtful solutions with a sense of urgency, when necessary
- Collaborating with analytical partners to appropriately measure success of existing and new products.
- Supports testing and release efforts in partnership with team
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Has led scrum teams in past (writing requirements for developers, working with UX, etc.)
- Has worked on a B2C product (consumer facing product)
- Mobile app experience preferred but not required
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with Optum Health or Optum Care products
