Responsibilities of
Methodology Engineer:
Develop, maintain, and improve automation tools supporting ASIC Front-End design flows.
Analyze existing design workflows and enhance efficiency through software solutions.
Develop automation using Python, Perl, C++, or similar programming languages.
Debug and resolve issues related to CAD tools and automation frameworks.
Collaborate with design and CAD teams to understand automation requirements.
Support engineering teams in adopting new tools and methodologies.
Contribute to documentation, testing, and validation of engineering tools.
Explore AI/ML techniques to improve EDA workflows and engineering productivity.
Qualcomm Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:
Must hold a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electronics/VLSI stream.
0-1 year of experience in CAD/EDA automation, software development, or RTL design.
Required skills:
Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Perl, C++, or similar languages.
Good understanding of software development fundamentals, debugging, and problem-solving techniques.
Ability to analyze requirements and design practical software solutions.
Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and scripting is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Basic understanding of ASIC Front-End design flow and RTL concepts is desirable.
