Job Description:
We are in search of a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer with a proven track record in designing and managing network and server infrastructures across diverse work environments. Responsibilities:
Architecting robust network and server infrastructures tailored to meet the unique demands of various work environments.
Expertly managing network firewalls, with specialized proficiency in Sophos firewall systems.
Configuring both physical and virtual (VM-based) servers running WINDOWS and Linux/Ubuntu operating systems.
Demonstrating extensive expertise in Linux environments, encompassing setup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Establishing Kubernetes cluster environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, to support scalable and resilient application deployments.
Leveraging a suite of tools including Jenkins, GitHub, Docker Hub, Terraform, and others to streamline application deployment within Kubernetes environments.
Implementing comprehensive backup strategies for servers, applications, and databases to ensure data integrity and continuity.
Deploying applications with advanced features such as high availability, auto-scaling, and load balancing, ensuring uninterrupted operation 24/7.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Extensive experience in designing and managing network and server infrastructures, preferably in enterprise environments.
In-depth knowledge of network security principles, with a strong focus on firewall management (experience with Sophos firewall systems highly desirable).
Proficiency in setting up and administering Windows and Linux/Ubuntu servers across physical and virtualized environments.
Demonstrated expertise in Linux environments, encompassing command-line proficiency and shell scripting.
Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Docker Hub, and Terraform, with a focus on supporting Kubernetes-based deployments.
Proven experience in implementing robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for servers, applications, and databases.
Ability to deploy and maintain highly available, scalable, and load-balanced applications.
