GE HealthCare is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET) to support its manufacturing and quality engineering operations. In this role, engineers will focus on improving product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and production processes. The position involves working closely with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure high standards of product quality and operational performance.
Responsibilities:
Drive improvements in product quality and manufacturing efficiency
Track and resolve quality issues occurring in the manufacturing production line
Work with supplier quality teams to resolve component defects and product issues
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for quality problems and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with quality management systems and safety standards
Coordinate equipment calibration and maintenance activities
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production teams
Implement Lean manufacturing initiatives and Kaizen improvements
Collaborate with customers to improve product quality and performance
Requirements:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control concepts
Ability to work with production teams and cross-functional engineering teams
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred
