Role
As the Digital Procurement Lead, you will be an integral part of the technology team, collaborating closely with the procurement function. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, conceptualize, and design digital product roadmaps tailored to enhance contracting, sourcing, procurement, and related processes.
You will manage and support existing technologies, lead internal teams, and coordinate with external vendors. You will serve as the trusted go-to person for all technology-related matters within the procurement department, including but not limited to Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Procure to Pay (P2P) transformation, Price Model forecasting, e-Material flow, Indirect sourcing automations, Procurement analytics.

Digital Product Roadmap Development & Program Delivery
Collaborate with the procurement function to understand current processes and identify areas for digital enhancement.
Conceptualize and design comprehensive digital product roadmaps aligned with procurement objectives, including CLM, P2P transformation, Price Model forecasting, e-Material flow, and indirect sourcing automations.
Define clear goals, milestones, and success metrics for digital procurement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Own delivery of prioritized programs and lead team to deliver their projects
Technology Management and Support:
Manage the implementation of enhancements onto SAP for current Procurement processes
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing technologies, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate resolution with internal IT teams or external vendors as needed.
Leadership and Team Management:
Identify and evaluate potential technology vendors and solution providers specializing in CLM, P2P, forecasting tools, and automation solutions.
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with selected vendors to ensure alignment with procurement objectives.
Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing structures to optimize value for the organization
Procurement Analytics:
Develop and implement strategies for leveraging data analytics to drive informed decision-making across the procurement lifecycle, including CLM analysis, P2P optimization, and price model forecasting.
Design and implement procurement analytics frameworks to track KPIs, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for process optimization.
Collaborate with data analysts and business intelligence teams to develop customized dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for procurement stakeholders

Academic Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
MBA from a Tier 1 institute
Led cross-functional teams to develop and implement digital procurement strategies, integrating platforms like SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP or Aerchain with SAP
Managed end-to-end implementation of CLM and P2P systems, optimizing operations and driving efficiency improvements.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
Proficiency in Procurement Technology Platforms: Experience with procurement software suites such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, GEP, Aerchain or similar platforms is crucial. Understanding the functionalities and capabilities of these platforms is necessary for integrating them into procurement processes , from requisition to payment
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Familiarity with CLM software and tools like iCertis is essential for managing contracts throughout their lifecycle
Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Tools: Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is necessary for extracting insights from procurement data. This skill is crucial for procurement analytics and decision-making.
Project Management Software: Competence in project management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is essential for overseeing digital procurement initiatives, managing timelines, and tracking progress.
